Meta launched Meta One on September 15, 2026, introducing a paid subscription layer for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI. The company says the launch includes more than 50 features, combining higher artificial-intelligence usage with expanded expression tools and professional options for creators and businesses.
More room to use Meta AI
The Core plan costs €6.99 per month. It increases access to Restyle, voice effects, and image and video generation with Meta AI. The Premium plan costs €20.99 per month, includes the Core plan, and offers the highest usage levels for content creation with Meta AI and across Meta’s family of apps.
Meta says more than half of the subscribers in its early tests used both the AI and expression features included in its bundled plans. That result points to two distinct reasons to consider the service: some users may want higher usage limits, while others may be more interested in creating and customising content within Meta’s apps.
Separate plans for each app
Users can also subscribe to individual products. Meta lists Instagram Plus at €2.99 per month, WhatsApp Plus at €2.49 and Facebook Plus at €2.99. Single-product plans start at €2.49 per month, while individual bundles start at €6.99.
The range matters because Meta One is not limited to a single AI upgrade. Its paid options cover access within specific apps as well as broader bundles, so the relevant price and benefits depend on which products a customer uses and which plan they choose.
Options for creators and businesses
Meta’s professional tiers begin with Essential at €16.99 per month. The plan includes increased access to Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp, which Meta describes as a tool for answering customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Advanced starts at €54.99 per month and adds features including Story scheduling up to 30 days ahead, links in organic posts and Reels, and exportable analytics. Expert and Max start at €169 and €549 per month respectively. They provide the highest levels of access to Meta’s features and Meta Business Agent capacity.
The basic experience remains free
Meta says the main experience across its apps and Meta AI will remain free. The subscription therefore adds capacity and features without removing the basic free access described by the company.
Meta also says its offers are available worldwide, although features, benefits, prices and availability can vary by region, app and account. The company plans to extend Meta One progressively to Edits, its AI glasses and other products.
The launch page lists 15 million subscriptions and trials to date. That figure comes from Meta and is not an independent measurement, so it describes the company’s reported reach rather than a separately verified market total.
Meta One gives frequent users, creators and businesses a new way to pay for additional AI access and workflow tools. The free core remains in place, while the practical choice for any individual customer will depend on the features and price available for that account.
